Innovative and exciting chef Nacho Manzano will be opening a second restaurant in London on 21st November. Also called Iberica, the same as its sister premises in Great Portland Street, the new restaurant is in Canary Wharf, close to the Cabot Square DLR station and will seat up to 130 diners over a main floor and two mezzanine floors. Each open mezzanine floor is suitable for smaller private events, one accommodating thirty guests and the other seating fifty guests.
Renowned for his ingenuity in the kitchen, Nacho Manzano has received two Michelin stars for his family-run restaurant Casa Marcial, situated in the mountains of Asturias in the north of Spain. Now Manzano and his head chef have put together a selection of traditional and innovative Spanish dishes, relying on the authenticity of the menu to create a unique dining experience.
Iberica in central London offers a wide choice of traditional seasonal tapas which are served throughout the day, alongside a selection of cheeses, cooked meats and seafood and a selection of fine wines from an impressive fifteen metre bar. The restaurant is on the ground floor, together with the delicatessen which offers a range of regional specialties. The Celaya, a formal dining room, is situated on the mezzanine floor and affords a more intimate atmosphere with the use of soft romantic lighting.
Manzano ascribes his success to ensuring that the ingredients used by his restaurants are the freshest and of the best quality and that his chefs use tried and tested techniques.
